Unlocking the “MAGIC” to Student Success

Miami Dade College’s Miami Animation and Gaming International Complex (MAGIC) students are now able to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Digital Communication and Media at Florida International University (FIU), thanks to a new articulation agreement between the two institutions. MAGIC students who earn an Associate in Science degree in Animation and Game Art or an A.S. in Game Development Design are eligible to pursue the degree at FIU, strengthening the institutions’ legacy of collaboration.
“Through this partnership, we are collectively fueling Miami’s talent pipeline of future animation and gaming experts, who will be prepared with the academic, digital and enterprise skills needed to thrive in the future workforce,” said MDC President Madeline Pumariega.
MDC named a finalist for the 2022 Examples of Excelencia distinction for its Connect4Success Program, a collaboration with FIU that provides a seamless transfer pathway for MDC graduates
