MDC Rising Scholars and Presidential Scholars student graduates came together in April for a ceremony to celebrate their outstanding accomplishments in their academic journey at MDC
Miami Dade College’s Rising Scholars and Presidential Scholars programs are paving the way for hundreds of students to achieve both academic and personal success. With a strong commitment to mentorship, academic excellence, leadership development, and financial support, these scholarship programs are transforming lives and empowering future generations of leaders.
In July 2022, MDC’s North Campus celebrated the 2nd Annual Rising Scholars Induction Ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for 200 deserving students. Later that same summer, 300 additional students were welcomed into the prestigious Presidential Scholars program.
With an emphasis on changemaking, these scholarship programs are preparing students to make a positive impact on their communities and beyond. Whether they are pursuing a degree in science, the arts, or any other field, students in the Rising Scholars and Presidential Scholars programs are supported every step of the way.
