Dear Miami Dade College District Board of Trustees,
All around us, we can see how momentum influences outcomes. At Miami Dade College, our institution is a living example of how building momentum is fundamental to impacting change in our community. As we move onto another invigorating year, I invite you to look back and reflect on the many accomplishments Miami Dade College has achieved to accelerate our set of priorities into action.
This past year we have challenged ourselves in a variety of ways to reimagine student success, accelerate academic excellence and innovation, value a culture of care to enhance student outcomes, fuel the talent needs of a global economy, and secure our future. Together, with our dedicated staff and world-class faculty, we have strengthened our processes to attain remarkable goals. I’m proud of the significant progress we’ve made, and I am exhilarated to witness how we will continue raising educational expectations to uplift our talent ecosystem.
I hope this leaves you feeling inspired and motivated for what is to come in 2023 as we work to further the mission of MDC. I look forward with great optimism that we will continue building upon the steps we have taken to create even more innovative pathways that will engage, empower, and elevate the students and communities we serve.
