Tell us a little about Lena’s Asian Kitchen. How do you de-cide with this business concept? As a long time private chef cooking for families’ daily meals, I can’t help but see a missing service in Asian Cuisines. So, we are offering Healthy Asian Prepared Meals with Macros and delivering to Houston and its surrounding area – within a 50 mile radius. Our cuisines are all Asian: Vietnamese, Thai, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, etc.. With a passion in education and philanthropy, we are proud to be the only Meal Prep Company that provides jobs ONLY for Domestic Abused and/or Trafficking Survivors. We want to help them create great careers in a safe and loving work environment, while also being financially independent. What are some of your favorite spots around to hang out with your family? We love eating out, so we go to restau-rants for dinner a lot. Our favorites include Pappadeaux for Southern Seafood, Ragin Cajun for crawfish, Viet Soul for our neighborhood Vietnamese food, Ocean Palace for Dimsum, and of course Bludorn for high-end New American cuisines. You can’t forget Hidden Omakase for the best sushi place in town! What are somethings that motivate you? Competing with myself always motivates me. I always want to be better, to do better, and to help other people. When there’s a need for help, I’m there and I’ll do everything I can to help! How hard is it to be a successful #girlboss? It’s hard, very hard. You must wear so many different hats, or in my case all the hats of the business, and still have to take care of your family and your personal life. But that’s my joy, my work is my joy, I love every minute of it and wouldn’t trade it for any-thing else!
