Miami Dade College’s culture of care is at the foundation of everything we do. It is the collective hard work and dedication of each member of our MDC family that makes our institution a unique and special place. Our unwavering commitment to excellence drives us to create an environment where our students can thrive and excel. To continue providing the best possible support to our employees, students, and community, MDC hosted Conference Day 2023 – a professional development retreat that brings us together as a community of educators, mentors, and innovators to share our experiences, learn from one another, and discover new strategies to create a lasting impact on our students and the communities we serve.
Embedded in our mission of recognizing excellence and promoting professional growth and development, MDC launched the inaugural President’s Leadership Academy, an opportunity for emerging leaders to come together and participate in a dynamic program designed to enhance their leadership skills. The Academy’s comprehensive curriculum was carefully crafted to provide participants with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to inspire positive impact within our College and the whole community. We look forward to supporting the growth and development of faculty and staff by welcoming the next cohort during the upcoming 2023 academic year.
