Coming Events & Deadlines May 1 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Award of Excellence Deadline http://www.nals.org/?p=242 May 2 Online Learning Center: How to Apply For a NALS Foundation Grant www.nals.org/OnlineLearning Spring is Upon Us! Springtime is so beautiful with all of its color and growing things. This is a time for optimism and accepting challenges. As the members select those who will lead their chapter or state association, it is good to remember that those selected will set the direction and tone for the coming year and should be chosen with that in mind. Those who accept the challenge of leadership— those who walk the walk—will be the voice of the members and represent them to the best of their abilities. I salute those who have led our association for the past year and send best wishes to those who will pick up the reins for the coming year. I also salute the volunteers who make up our chapter and state association support teams. All volunteers are important. NALS is the “key,” but YOU—the members—are the key to NALS.
