Miami Dade College’s School for Advanced Studies (SAS) made the list of The Washington Post’s “Most Challenging High Schools” this year, a testament to the dedication of both the educators and students enrolled in the program. The newspaper analyzed 2,323 schools across the United States and then ranked them by dividing the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at the school by the number of students who graduated that year. SAS stood out with its stellar four-year college rate: 100 percent of students who graduate move on to study at colleges and universities.
