Chamber Chatter Volume 4 , Edition 4 Page 3 Message from the President Page 10 Calendar of Events Middletown Area Chamber Celebrates First Annual Corntober Brewfest Event organizers, MACC Executive Director, Roxane Ferguson and Delaware Sports League owner, Bob Downing get ready to kick off the capstone event! s Even a hurricane couldn’t stop the Championship Cornhole Tournament in Middletown. Over 300 people came out to support the capstone event! While the event was moved indoors due to the storm, the event was a great success and everyone is looking forward to next year! Congratulations to the Delaware State Cornhole Champs, Shayne Coyne & Scott Laba who walked away with the state title, $250, trophies & cornhole boards! Kudos to Jeff Treml & Joe Treml who came in 2nd with a prize of $150 & 3rd place winner of $100 is Jamie Jones & Mike Lux! Much appreciation to everyone who came out to support the event including: teams, attendees, volunteers, Delaware Sports League, Wilmington Cornhole Association, Ridin’ Shotgun & A Different Breed!
